Why we’re drawn to the Magic Island
Sun-drenched beaches and salt-soaked hair, the Magic Island has a way of always calling you back, but what is it about the energy of Ibiza that is just so magnetic?
It’s long let go of the brand of being reserved for hen parties and stag do’s - even with the blip of the Ibiza Final Boss taking to socials these past few weeks - now, the island is known for healing energy running alongside its hedonistic ways, which seems to make it all the more appealing.
Built on crystals - yes, really - the soil of Ibiza has a high count of quartz, meaning that the energy you feel isn’t just in your head or from the Spanish wine that just hits different.
The crystals draw us in, in the same way we place crystals on our desks, in our draws, in our bras (do we still do that?) and on our windowsills under the full moon - because we like their energy and respect their properties.
Now, quartz in particular is a versatile crystal, it wears many hats and is healing, calming, energising, mood-boosting, and it is a good all-rounder if you’re not after something uber specific from your crystals. Of course, Ibiza being built on this energy checks out and makes total sense.
From the ease you feel wandering the old town, to the pockets of calm that are found in coves and on secluded beaches, there are these waves that was over you, a different frequency in operation that makes it so hard to leave and so easy to return.
The island will always call you back. From the moment you touch down to the moment the wheels leave the ground again, it feels like a homecoming.

There’s a flow of energy and creativity that is felt, from the crystal waters to the views of Es Vedra - which is rumoured to be a remnant of Atlantis.
We can talk about the crystals, the mystery and the magic, but it would be remiss not to speak to the nature of Ibiza. There’s this free and easy vibe that, even though many go to mix both business and pleasure, there is this slowness, this playfulness, that really bends and blurs the space between real life and fantasy. There’s this welcoming energy, where dance is a live and expression is expected, and Ibiza offers up this opportunity to be the version of you that you want to be. Higher Self? We can call it that, but there is something about it that feels accessible - you can tap right in anytime you like, which becomes a portal for the best ideas, the freshest of plans, and a slice of yourself that just feels whole.
