This is the zeitgeist and zodiac predictions from the world of Effable.

It’s July 11, I’m writing this from a beachside restaurant deck in Wales. The sun is hot and my Everleaf spritz is going down a treat, but with the world heating up and the longest days behind us, what do the next few weeks, or months, look like?

The Zeitgeist

We’re delulu for Labubu, which I don’t know that anyone saw coming?

We were craving play, a lightness, a relief from the weight of the world resting on our shoulders, and Labubus were right there to quench that thirst. A cross between a keyring, a furby, and possibly something your sleep demon would cling onto, they’re here and don’t seem to be budging (hello Lafufu). But, while we have been craving that feeling to heal the inner child (wild dips, little treats, and the return of the Eurosummer), there is also a loudening noise around treading lightly. There’s a swell in emotion around Mother Nature, which can feel like an echo chamber sometimes, but questions are being asked and care is being placed on the things we buy and what we put on our bodies. The internet gives all of us a platform, and now brands can’t hide their truth because someone else will air their dirty laundry.

The Zodiac

A juicy full moon in Capricorn just graced our skies, and it is time to go all in. A time to connect with your highest purpose, and highest good, and go in relentless pursuit of that. It might mean old emotions, connections, feelings bubbling to the surface, but it is all for the timeline shift we are on right now. Support yourself by connecting back to your why, your purpose, and your passions. Don’t forget that playful nature that we have spoken about, and lean all the way in to the things that light you up.

What does it all mean?

Existential questions that my co-star loves to sassily answer, but the next few weeks feel like there is going to be a shift. We’re moving, whether we like it or not, onto new timelines, into new dimensions, and sitting still is only going to get more uncomfortable.

The world needs more voices with care, grit, and determination. It needs more brands to take the stage that mean what they say and say what they mean. It needs a revolution and a remembering. And if you’re reading this, I think you already know that, and you know that you’re part of it, too.

So, while I am not buying a Lafufu anytime soon, I am drinking my moon water and amping up the volume, I hope you are, too.
