Blue Earth Summit 2025
It’s Blue Earth season, baby.
Summer is over, leaves are falling, we’re reaching for big coats and wondering how long we can cling onto an iced coffee without getting frostbite. But, with the turn of the season comes an event that is hard marked in every climate and sustainability professionals calendar, along with the marketing teams, founders, investors, disruptors - you get the picture. It’s the who’s who of the sustainability circuit and an event that seems to get better each year, who’d have thought it? It’s Blue Earth Summit, and it is back from 15-17 October at Woolwich Works in London.
Blue Earth is an event where several worlds collide. Rooms filled with founders and investors, along with marketing teams, impact directors, and a whole host of other roles who put down their day jobs in place of conversations around climate, conservation, and the big blue space where we all find so much solace and peace. You’d be forgiven for thinking that this was a sort of idealistic event, filled with big ideas and dreams that float through the sky - and it is. But, there’s also something business-like, practical and rooted in actual change that spans throughout the event, that makes those dreams feel more than possible, rather, inevitable.
For four years, Effable has been in attendance at Blue Earth, soaking up the stories, plans, and developments that have come to call this summit home. From finding its roots in Bristol to moving to London and stepping into a new era of investment, change, and challenger brands, each year the bar gets higher and the event gets slicker - which is no mean feat.
This year the programme is filled with names like Deborah Meaden, Tim Smit, Mark Shayler, Richard Walker, and Russ Cook to name a few - with three days packed to the rafters with events, workshops, talks, pitches, yoga, journalling, and everything else in between.
Effable will be holding space twice over the course of the Summit, here’s where to find us:
Ground and Gather
When: Thursday 16th October - 8:30AM
Where: Riverside
An intention setting walk to reflect on day one and to make a plan for day two and day three.
A Summit check in where you can share what you have learned and what you’re looking forward to, as we walk along the river to ground and gather together.
A Space to Integrate
When: Friday 17th October - 10:45AM
Where: Workshop
A circle to share, journal, and plan, thinking about what we’ve taken away from the past two days and what we will take forward.
Bring yourself, a piece of paper and a pen, and a cup of tea/coffee to get settled in with.
You will have the opportunity to speak and share should you wish, or you can simply come and soak up the energy.
If you’ve got your ticket, we will see you there, and if you’re still to snap yours up, email events@itiseffable.com and we will send you a discount code to use on your Summit ticket. So, see you there? We really hope so.
