UK FOR GOOD
When I set out to start Effable, I knew that I wanted to do business differently.
I knew that I didn’t want to just work with anyone, and I wanted to use my words to make a positive impact on the world and the people who call it home.
Effable was born out of a desire to work with change-makers and like-minded humans who also wanted to use their time here for good.
I saw communities across the country, pockets of people with similar agendas, teaming up and taking the business world by storm.
I saw B Corp and B Lab, making changes to how business is done, but, admittedly, I wondered whether it was for me, as a one-woman show.
Then, I found UK for Good.
It was called Cheshire for Good at the time and was founded by Donna Okell, who had a vision for a cleaner, greener, fairer, future.
I joined as a member at the start of 2022, and since then I have built relationships, learned how to do better business, and found a tribe of humans who are walking the same path as I am.
This was the first step to commit to being a better business, and I’m excited to see where this journey leads.
